What Are Probiotics?

Probiotics have grown in popularity over the last few years, helping people with everything from digestive issues to immune system health and more. Research into the benefits of probiotics has mainly been from a medical standpoint, so many people only associate probiotics with the body, not with their environment. We want to explain what probiotics are, and how having them both inside your body and out can help you live a healthier life.

To simplify things, we like to say there are three different types of bacteria — the good, the bad, and the ugly. Bad and ugly bacteria are things like allergens and pathogens, which are responsible for allergies and illness. On the other hand, good bacteria fight against those illnesses, to help strengthen our immune systems and keep our environments balanced. To maintain proper balance, you need both good and bad bacteria.

Probiotics fight to keep your home and body clean by competing with bad bacteria for food. All bacteria consume the same food sources – mites, pet dander, pollen, and other contaminants. Our patented strain is powerful and as the probiotics consume this unwanted matter, harmful bacteria cannot thrive.
